Frequently Asked Questions
DIRECT PRIMARY CARE
-
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is an innovative alternative payment model improving access to high functioning healthcare.
You pay a monthly membership fee that includes visits to the doctor, messaging, e-mails, phone calls, telehealth visits, and most in-office procedures (EKG, etc.)
We don’t bill your insurance, so you will never get a “surprise bill” for anything we offer.
There are no co-pays for individual visits either.
The defining element of DPC is an enduring and trusting relationship between a patient and their primary care provider. You can reach YOUR DOCTOR when you need.
AND… this leads to little or no wait time for visits as well as same or next day appointment availability. Your visits with the doctor will also be longer, usually 30 min-1 hour, depending on what you need.

Lifestyle medicine is a medical specialty that uses therapeutic lifestyle interventions as a primary method to treat chronic conditions including, but not limited to, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and obesity. Lifestyle medicine certified clinicians are trained to apply evidence-based, whole-person, prescriptive lifestyle changes to treat and, when used intensively, often reverse such conditions. Lifestyle medicine focuses on 6 pillars—a whole-food, plant-predominant eating pattern, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, avoidance of risky substances and positive social connections. These pillars can also play a significant role in preventing disease.

Yes. You should still keep your insurance policy to help cover medications, labs, imaging, other physicians, and hospital visits.
Labs ordered or done in the office will be billed through your insurance.
If you don’t have insurance, I would recommend joining a healthshare plan. HSA for America can help you compare options. https://hsaforamerica.com/healthshare-plans/
We are also working with laboratories and imaging centers to secure affordable cash prices.
